Initial Consultation Agreement

 

1. Scope of Service:

Consultant will provide an initial consultation to the client regarding immigration matters which includes reviewing client's background, immigration objectives, potential immigration pathways, and providing general advice on process and requirements.

 

2. Consultation Fee:

The fee is only for this consultation, is non-refundable, and must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the consultation.

 

3. Confidentiality:

All information provided by the client during the consultation will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the client's consent, except as required by law.

 

4. No Guarantee of Outcome:

The consultant cannot guarantee the outcome of any immigration application or process. The advice provided during the consultation is based on the information available at the time and the current immigration laws and policies.

 

5. Limitation of Services:

The initial consultation does not include the preparation or submission of any immigration applications or documents. Should the client wish to retain the consultant for further services, a separate retainer agreement will be required.

 

6. Termination of Agreement:

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the client will be responsible for any fees incurred up to the point of termination.

 

7. Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Please be advised that Consultant is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, is bound by its By-law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations.

 

7. Acknowledgment:

By booking this appointment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Initial Consultation Agreement

Rohit is a Queen’s Law graduate and studied Immigration and Citizenship Law with distinction. He is authorized by law to represent people with Citizenship and Immigration Canada and with all provincial immigration authorities. 

Rohit is a member in good standing of the CICC and has a special IRB license as counsel to appear before the Immigration and Refugee Board for refugee, inadmissibility, appeals, and detention review hearings. He is also a member of CAPIC and Commissioner for Oath in and for Alberta. He takes clients’ goals and needs seriously and provides them with trusted advice, courtesy, and dedication.
Rohit is skilled in Immigration Law, Legal Writing, Immigration Policy, Legal Research, and exclusively practices Canadian immigration law. This focus allows him to stay abreast of the constantly changing laws and policies that affect clients. He handles all types of immigration cases, including economic classes, family class, H&C applications, temporary resident applications, LMIA, among other types of cases.
